Psych Congress Elevate 2024 Announces Leadership for Upcoming Conference

MALVERN, PA — The eighth annual Psych Congress Elevate, a leading conference offering future-focused education for early career and forward-thinking mental health clinicians, has announced its co-chairs for the 2024 event. Steven Chan, MD, MBA; Craig Chepke, MD, DFAPA; and Desiree Matthews, PMHNP-BC will lead the conference scheduled to take place from May 30 to June 2, 2024 in Las Vegas.

Organized by HMP Global, a top healthcare events and education company, Psych Congress Elevate is renowned for providing practical psychopharmacology and career-enhancing education. The conference is uniquely structured to pair emerging voices with experienced faculty, ensuring high-quality education for attendees and opportunities for newer speakers.

Dr. Chan, a clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializes in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and clinical informatics. He has affiliations with multiple esteemed institutions, including the American Psychiatric Association Committee on Innovation and the Mental Health America Board of Directors. His research interests lie in telehealth and digital mental health.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the conference, Dr. Chepke said, “It’s still my favorite conference because it embodies the joy and excitement I feel when learning new information that can help change my practice and better serve my patients.” Dr. Chepke is a board-certified psychiatrist, medical director of Excel Psychiatric Associates, and an adjunct associate professor of psychiatry for Atrium Health.
