Neuronetics, Inc

MALVERN, PA — Neuronetics Inc. (NASDAQ: STIM) announced this week significant updates to its proprietary NeuroStar software and TrakStar® Patient Data Management System. These enhancements aim to revolutionize patient care and data management in treating mental health disorders like depression.

Cory Anderson, SVP of R&D and Clinical stated, “These updates usher in a new era of patient care and data management. They represent our commitment to support NeuroStar devices throughout their lifecycle and lay the groundwork for future improvements.”

The updated NeuroStar software is set to redefine user experience across all legacy NeuroStar systems while preserving the original workflow. The upgrade features a new user interface and software platform, ensuring a uniform, seamless experience across all devices.

TrakStar’s software has also been significantly upgraded to enhance practice management and patient care. Its standout feature alerts NeuroStar providers in real time when patients show signs of relapse or changes in mental health following NeuroStar transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment. This proactive notification system allows practices to swiftly identify patients who may need further NeuroStar treatment or clinical evaluation.

Additional TrakStar updates include improvements to the potential patient dashboard, streamlining the process of identifying patients ready for consultation and reviewing their clinical history. Improved outcomes reporting within TrakStar provides practices with versatile options for tracking individual patient progress.

Dr. Geoffrey Grammer, Chief Medical Officer at Greenbrook TMS Neuroheath Centers, praised TrakStar’s capabilities, stating it’s a “significant and game-changing advancement” in patient care protocols. He noted that the ability to identify patients who may benefit from retreatment with NeuroStar TMS therapy ensures those in need receive the appropriate attention and support.
