Neuronetics Revamps TrakStar System, Streamlining Patient Data Management

Neuronetics, Inc

MALVERN, PA — Neuronetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: STIM) has unveiled a series of enhancements to its proprietary TrakStar® Patient Data Management System. These updates aim to revolutionize the way healthcare providers manage and track patient information.

The TrakStar® system, designed for providers using NeuroStar TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), is a HIPAA-compliant management tool that offers a comprehensive view of patient outcomes. The recent upgrades introduce features aimed at simplifying the tracking and documenting status of potential and current patients.

Cory Anderson, SVP of R&D and Clinical at Neuronetics, emphasized the importance of having up-to-date technology in healthcare. “It’s essential for healthcare providers to have the most recent technology that supports them in continuously improving patient care processes,” Anderson said. “These newest enhancements in TrakStar can facilitate better internal practice communication and visibility to up-to-date and comprehensive information about prospective and current NeuroStar patients.”

The updated TrakStar® system now enables healthcare providers to identify and filter potential patients based on the contact method that led them to the practice. It also expands methods to update potential patient status and provides insights into why existing and past patients ended treatment. These features are intended to save practices time, allowing them to focus more on direct patient care rather than administrative tasks.

Dr. Melissa Fickey, Founder of Embracing Life Wellness Center, lauded the system’s updated functionality. “A big part of our practice is being able to easily understand where patients are in the treatment process, and TrakStar helps us keep this information visible and accessible at our fingertips,” she said.

Another significant upgrade is the more robust Benefits Investigation report. This feature provides practices with an estimated financial responsibility for the patient before they begin treatment. This transparency can be shared with patients during the consultation process, providing clear expectations about potential costs from insurance providers.

These updates to the TrakStar® system are available now for all cloud-based NeuroStar providers. As healthcare providers continually seek ways to streamline their administrative processes and improve patient care, Neuronetics’ refreshed TrakStar® Patient Data Management System appears poised to meet these needs head-on.
