PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Open Hearth, Inc. announced the grand opening of its new headquarters at 701 S. Main Street in Phoenixville, PA. The nonprofit celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house event on the evening of Oct 5th.

The new building, generously donated by local residents Janice and Paul Hartmann, serves as home to Open Hearth’s programs and community-building initiatives. With the objective of fostering a stronger, healthier community for generations to come, this new location will allow Open Hearth to better serve its clients who reside in Chester County and portions of western Montgomery County.

“We are excited to welcome the community into our new home and showcase all the impactful work that Open Hearth does in the area,” said Kelly Raggazino, Chief Executive Officer of Open Hearth. “This new building will not only provide a more accessible and inspirational space for our clients and partners, but it will also allow us to continue growing and serving those in need.”

Thanks to the “Home Is Where the Hearth Is” capital campaign, which raised over $1 million, the building was able to undergo critical repairs and renovations to bring it up to date with today’s codes and standards. The campaign’s lead supporters included The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, Chester County Department of Community Development, The McLean Contributionship, Univest, and First Cornerstone Foundation.

The ribbon cutting ceremony and open house event on Oct 5th included tours of the new building, speeches from local elected officials, and live music.
