WEST CHESTER, PA — Old Mill Antiques, housed in a historic 1789 barn at 20 Ellis Lane, is set to reopen. This iconic location once hosted the Bird-In-Hand Tavern and was a secret stop on the Underground Railroad. After facing potential destruction, it now emerges as a vibrant boutique collective.
The ground floor features Randy & Sarah Mims of Pocopson Mill Antiques, offering unique home furnishings and decorator items. Karee Foley’s Shutters and Sand takes over the second floor, showcasing one-of-a-kind gifts and rare finds. A new brand, The Magic Fox, created by artist Ginny Morton and celebrity chef Esti Parsons, adds excitement with its creative offerings.
“We are thrilled to re-open with a refreshed team of artists, vendors, and a unique collection of vintage pieces and original art,” said Ginny Morton. She aims to create a memorable shopping experience, letting customers discover treasures that add character and history to their homes.
The grand opening event on September 28, 2024, promises special promotions, refreshments, and live music. The first 30 visitors will receive a complimentary gift as a token of appreciation. This reopening breathes new life into a cherished piece of history, inviting the public to explore its treasures.
