WEST CHESTER, PA — Nanu’s Hot Chicken, known for its bold flavors and Nashville-style hot chicken, is set to make a sizzling debut in West Chester, PA, with a highly anticipated grand opening event on Friday, March 7, 2025. The celebration at the new two-story location at 315 S. High Street will run from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, featuring a massive food giveaway, live music, prizes, and more.

Hundreds of attendees will have the chance to enjoy complimentary chicken sandwiches with fries until supplies run out. The highlight of the event will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 PM, officiated by the founding team and new partners. This festive kickoff marks the first Nanu’s Hot Chicken location in Chester County, adding to the brand’s growing footprint across the region.

“West Chester, come and get it!” exclaimed founder Imran Rashid. “We’re thrilled to bring Nanu’s to the heart of Chester County. This location is about more than just great food—it’s about building connections with the West Chester community, including our neighbors, students, and faculty from West Chester University.”

A New Hot Spot in Town

The West Chester location is Nanu’s first two-story restaurant, offering seating for over 50 customers across a vibrant dining area upstairs and downstairs, alongside a shaded outdoor patio for an additional 20 diners. Its bold, colorful interiors include custom murals and a solar system-inspired ceiling, creating an Instagram-worthy atmosphere designed to complement the food.

The menu highlights familiar fan favorites like the Chicken Sandwich with fries, served with pickles, cheese, coleslaw, and Nanu’s signature sauce, as well as Loaded Waffle Fries and spice-coated Chicken Tenders. Daring diners can choose spice levels ranging from mild to the fiery “Reaper.” Vegetarian options, shrimp-loaded dishes, and smoothies round out the offerings to appeal to a diverse customer base.

A Growing Presence

Since opening its first location in Philadelphia in 2023, Nanu’s Hot Chicken has quickly expanded to 11 locations across Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey. The West Chester store is the latest in a series of planned openings, including a newly launched location in Wilmington, DE, and additional spots expected by summer 2025.

Owners Ikram and Imran Rashid partnered with cousins Amjad and Jawad Ali to open the West Chester location. Their shared background in food service helped ensure the site was perfectly tailored to meet the needs of the community.

“We’re excited to bring something fresh and dynamic to this area,” Amjad Ali said of the new restaurant’s location.

A Community-Centered Mission

Inspired by their brother Nanu, who was born with Down Syndrome, the Rashid family built their business on a foundation of inclusivity and community support. This ethos, combined with mouthwatering food and a welcoming environment, has driven their rapid growth.

Nanu’s West Chester location promises to deliver a unique dining experience for locals, university students, and visitors alike. The extended hours, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, make it an accessible destination for everything from quick lunches to late-night cravings.
