WEST CHESTER, PA — Mission Critical Group (MCG), headquartered in McKinney, Texas, announced its acquisition of DVM Manufacturing, LLC (DVM Power + Control), a leading manufacturer of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment. Based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, DVM further strengthens MCG’s expertise and capabilities in supporting critical industries like data centers and industrial facilities.

The acquisition significantly expands MCG’s production footprint. With DVM’s 350,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities located in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Connecticut, MCG now boasts over one million square feet of manufacturing capacity in the electrical systems sector. It also enhances MCG’s technical capabilities by integrating DVM’s experienced workforce.

“DVM’s expertise advances MCG’s manufacturing and aftermarket services, driving growth and customer satisfaction for our innovative, high-quality solutions,” said Jeff Drees, CEO of Mission Critical Group. “With DVM’s added capacity and technical strengths, we are also expanding our geographic reach, boosting product development and optimizing power service offerings to better support data centers and other mission critical environments.”

DVM specializes in designing and manufacturing a range of electrical distribution equipment, such as switchboards, switchgear, relay panels, and power distribution units (PDUs). Its Naugatuck, Connecticut facility focuses on retrofits, breaker rebuilds, and modernizing older switchgear, which broadens MCG’s ability to provide top-tier solutions for evolving infrastructure needs.

Robert Ricci, CEO of DVM, emphasized the strong alignment between the two companies. “This partnership is a natural fit, built on a shared commitment to innovation, excellence and customer value,” Ricci said. “Having worked with MCG’s leadership for 30 years, I can attest to their deep industry knowledge and strategic expertise. This collaboration expands our resources, enhances engineering capabilities and improves career growth, ensuring a stronger future for our team.”

DVM will continue operating under its existing name as part of Mission Critical Group, joining other brands like JTS and Point Eight Power. Ricci will remain as President of DVM and oversee MCG’s low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment manufacturing operations.

MCG’s latest acquisition aims to drive innovation in power solutions while meeting the demands of mission-critical applications. With this strategic move, the company is poised to better serve its growing customer base and continue its role as a leader in electrical system solutions.
