Ballymore Safety Products Acquires Valley Craft Industries to Expand U.S. Manufacturing

COATESVILLE, PABallymore Safety Products has finalized its acquisition of Valley Craft Industries, Inc., a Minnesota-based manufacturer specializing in material handling and storage solutions. This marks Ballymore’s fourth acquisition since 2021 and reinforces its position as a leader in safety, vertical access, and material handling products across the United States.

Valley Craft, with over 70 years of industry experience, produces a wide range of equipment, including hand trucks, stackers, carts, and storage cabinets. The company brings a team of more than 100 employees and a 175,000-square-foot facility that will now serve as Ballymore’s Midwest headquarters. Plans for the site include introducing rolling ladder manufacturing and other investments to maximize production capabilities.

This acquisition aligns with Ballymore’s strategy of building a robust domestic manufacturing base to better serve its customers. Ballymore’s existing portfolio includes operations in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, alongside national service capabilities through DOC Services in South Carolina. Combined, the assets now represent nearly half a million square feet dedicated to manufacturing.

Looking ahead, Ballymore plans to focus on integrating Valley Craft’s capabilities while pursuing further innovations in safety and material handling solutions. The expanded infrastructure and expertise position the company for continued growth while enhancing its ability to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
