The newly constructed Broomall Firehouse was awarded first place in the Institutional $5-10 million category. Designed by Bernardon Architects, this 22,000 state-of-the-art facility accommodates modern apparatus and features an environmentally friendly facility and site.
Willistown Conservation Trust’s Rushton Conservation Center won second place in the Commercial $1-5 million category. This 8,000-square-foot facility was designed by John Milner Architects and contains a timber-frame gathering room, a demonstration kitchen, and a dedicated library and research room.
The Delaware County Christian School’s middle school renovation placed second in the Institutional $1-5 million category. Designed by Bonnett Associates Inc., this project consisted of an extensive renovation of a 17,000 SF middle school building that was completed in 12 weeks.
