MALVERN, PA — HMP Global, a leading healthcare events and education company, this week unveiled the members of the Scientific Committee for the 2024 World Congress on Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer. The congress is an annual premier event for the exchange of knowledge among GI oncology clinicians and researchers.
The 2024 World GI Congress will take place from July 3 to 6 at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona. The 25th Congress, held earlier this year, saw the participation of over 3,000 clinicians, surgeons, researchers, and experts from more than 100 countries, making it a global hub for pioneering research and discussions on best practices in treating patients with GI cancers.
The Scientific Committee comprises global experts in GI oncology who will oversee the development of a comprehensive program. This program will ensure participants learn about and discuss the most advanced approaches in patient diagnosis and care. The committee will also select oral and late-breaking abstracts to be presented at the congress.
