CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Historic Yellow Springs has announced the hiring of Athena Procsal as the new Art Programs Manager and Jaclyn Clark as the new Public Education and Promotions Manager. These appointments coincide with the institution’s 50th anniversary and major renovations on Connie’s House to expand community programs.
Procsal, who holds a BFA from Seton Hill University and a Masters of Education from Cabrini University, brings over ten years of public classroom teaching experience. She has also worked in community art centers and developed multimedia learning experiences. Procsal was most recently an elementary art instructor for the Pottstown School District.
“I’m thrilled to join the Historic Yellow Springs team as the Arts Program Manager,” said Procsal. “I look forward to enhancing our art programs and community outreach.”
Clark, formerly the Senior Publisher at Wikimotive, specialized in marketing projects and web campaigns. An artist inspired by her mother, Clark has studied textiles and jewelry at Penland School of Craft and worked as a studio technician at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia.
Tim Compton, Executive Director of Historic Yellow Springs, commented on the new hires: “Adding Athena and Jaclyn to our team marks significant growth and aligns with our values of being hungry, humble, smart, and efficient. These appointments come at a crucial time as we celebrate 50 years and launch new initiatives.”
Historic Yellow Springs aims to continue its tradition of offering dynamic and engaging art programs to the community with the help of its new team members.
