EXTON, PA — Hankin Group, a leading real estate company, has announced that Frontage Laboratories is expanding its operations at Eagleview, occupying an additional 46,300 square feet of life sciences space at 240 Sierra Drive. This new space will support Frontage’s CMC Product Development & Manufacturing service line.

The expansion brings the 113,000-square-foot GMP-certified building to full occupancy, with Fruh Packaging also leasing space. This growth adds hundreds of jobs to Chester County, demonstrating the ongoing rise of the life sciences sector in Chester County and the Greater Philadelphia region.

Frontage Laboratories, a pharmaceutical development firm headquartered in Exton, now occupies over 200,000 square feet of life sciences space in Eagleview. The CMC Expansion Project is expected to create around 100 new jobs in the area.

Fruh Packaging, a Swiss pharmaceutical packaging company, moved into 240 Sierra Drive in February 2024. They chose Eagleview for their first American headquarters after an extensive search.

“Eagleview, with its robust infrastructure and unique live, work, play environment, is particularly well suited for life sciences companies,” said Sam Sherrill, Commercial Sales and Leasing Manager at Hankin Group. “Our master planned community offers more than 575,000 square feet of research and development space, quality residential and retail opportunities, and easy access to a highly skilled workforce, making it a perfect hub for growth and collaboration in the life sciences sector.”

Dr. Song Li, Executive Chairman at Frontage Labs, expressed satisfaction with the expansion. “Expanding our CDMO operations at Eagleview was a strategic, and logical, next step for our business. The Hankin team knows how to develop life science properties, and their property management team ensures our operations run seamlessly,” said Dr. Li. “Eagleview is a place that we can continue to grow for years to come.”
