WEST CHESTER, PA — Fred Beans dealerships, a prominent name in the automotive industry in Southeastern Pennsylvania, recently made a significant contribution to the non-profit organization, Unite for HER. The automotive group donated a total of $21,700, raised from a portion of each vehicle sale throughout October, aligning with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Unite for HER seeks to fund and deliver integrative therapies to individuals diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers, providing invaluable support to boost their health and well-being. The nonprofit’s mission resonated with Fred Beans Automotive Group after learning about the assistance it provided to Stacie Crane, a valued partner of Beans who serves as sales operations manager with Volkswagen of America.
Beth Beans Gilbert, Vice President of Fred Beans Automotive Group, expressed the company’s admiration for Unite for HER’s work. She noted that several people connected with their company have also acknowledged the invaluable support provided by the nonprofit.
Larry Storm, General Manager of Fred Beans Volkswagen of Doylestown, emphasized how the charitable act added a deeper meaning to each car sale. “Being able to support a colleague with this donation adds extra motivation and is really special. I love everything about this company, but these opportunities to give back by doing our jobs provides extra motivation and is really special,” he stated.
The spirit of giving continues as Fred Beans dealerships pivot their philanthropy focus for December. The automotive group plans to combat hunger, with proceeds from each vehicle sale set to support food pantries in areas where Beans operates. This initiative highlights the dealership’s commitment to community engagement, further solidifying its position as a business that values both its customers and its community.
