WEST CHESTER, PA — The Fred Beans Automotive Group has concluded another successful year-end sales challenge, raising $50,000 to fight hunger in communities across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The funds, which equate to approximately 100,000 meals, are being distributed to food pantries in areas where the company operates.
Locally, Fred Beans recently presented a $6,000 check to the West Chester Food Cupboard, representing contributions from Fred Beans Ford of West Chester, Fred Beans Ford of Exton, and Fred Beans Volkswagen of Devon. The effort also included food collection initiatives during the holiday season.
“We launched our first meals challenge in 2020, tying our sales goals to fundraising goals with the intention of helping food pantries keep up with demand,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “Our goal is always to make a difference in the community beyond selling cars, and these challenges are one way we can do that.”
The year-end campaign, which began on Black Friday and ran through December 31, underscores the company’s broader commitment to addressing food insecurity in the regions it serves.
Fred Beans Automotive Group’s ongoing efforts highlight the power of community-focused business practices. With initiatives like these, the company remains steadfast in its mission to support those in need, ensuring its impact goes far beyond the showroom floor.
