WEST CHESTER, PA — Centinel Spine®, LLC has announced a significant milestone, achieving record revenue in the third quarter of 2024, surpassing its previous high set in the second quarter of this year. The company, recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the spine industry, focuses exclusively on total disc replacement, a rapidly expanding segment within orthopedic implants.
In Q3 2024, Centinel Spine reported worldwide prodisc Total Disc Replacement (TDR) revenue of approximately $22.5 million, marking a 30% increase from the previous year. The company’s prodisc Cervical revenue reached $14.7 million globally, reflecting a 38% year-over-year growth. In the U.S., prodisc TDR revenue hit $18.2 million with a 32% growth, while prodisc Cervical revenue saw a 43% increase.
The surgeon user base in the U.S. has grown to nearly 630, showing a 46% increase from last year and a 6% rise from the previous quarter. This marks the ninth consecutive quarter of growth in surgeon users.
The company’s new prodisc C Vivo and prodisc C SK Cervical Systems have also contributed to this success. Since their limited release in Q3 2022, over 7,600 procedures have been completed in the U.S. The prodisc C Vivo revenue recorded a 55% increase, while the prodisc SK system maintained its momentum with a 74% growth. The number of surgeons using the Match-the-Disc Cervical System grew by nearly 115% year-over-year, with 70% of the users being repeat customers.
