KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Chatham Financial has opened a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking a strategic expansion into one of the nation’s fast-growing business hubs. This move enhances Chatham’s ability to engage with clients and collaborate with capital markets partners.
The new office occupies 6,700 square feet on the fourth floor at the Offices at Carson Station, located in the bustling South End business district. Initially staffed by five employees, the firm plans to increase this number sixfold in the coming years, emphasizing a strong growth trajectory. This Charlotte location is the third office Chatham has launched this year, following new sites in New York City and Amsterdam, bringing its global total to ten.
Laura Grant, Managing Partner and President of Chatham Financial, explained the decision: “Positioned at the intersection of finance and technology, Charlotte is a natural target for Chatham’s expansion. We are a stronger partner and better able to deliver the high-quality service our clients expect.”
Scott Simonton, a seasoned expert in private capital risk management and native to North Carolina, will lead the new office. “Our new office is located in the heart of Charlotte’s business community, providing excellent connectivity for our clients and stakeholders,” Simonton stated. He noted the city’s rich pool of tech and capital markets talent and its strong university system as key factors in choosing Charlotte.
Chatham Financial’s expansion into Charlotte reflects its growth efforts and deliver exceptional service, positioning itself strategically within a vibrant economic landscape.
