WEST CHESTER, PA — Qurate Retail Group, part of Qurate Retail, Inc. (Nasdaq: QRTEA, QRTEB, QRTEP), has announced the appointment of Stacy Bowe as President of Home Shopping Network (HSN). Bowe’s promotion comes on the heels of her successful tenure as Chief Merchandising Officer at QVC US.
Bowe will step into her new role effective immediately, reporting directly to David L. Rawlinson II, President and CEO of Qurate Retail, Inc. She will also join the ranks of the company’s executive leadership team.
Rawlinson expressed his confidence in Bowe’s ability to drive HSN’s growth, highlighting her instrumental role in enhancing QVC’s customer affinity and brand positioning during her 18-month stint as Chief Merchant. He praised her for swiftly recalibrating QVC’s buying program, optimizing inventory levels, and injecting freshness into their product assortment.
“Stacy’s consumer focus and experience at top brands like Macy’s will be critical in accelerating HSN’s position with consumers, brands, and the celebrities and entertainers that differentiate HSN in the marketplace,” said Rawlinson.
Bowe succeeds Rob Muller, who has decided to leave HSN to concentrate on family and other pursuits after a commendable 23-year career with the company. Muller’s expertise in operations and commerce was pivotal in leading HSN through a period of change and transformation, including critical cost-saving initiatives.
Rawlinson lauded Muller’s contributions, stating, “Rob’s leadership and vision helped to solidify the path forward for HSN and his contributions built a strong foundation for HSN’s long-term success.”
Muller will remain with HSN until April 2024, working closely with Bowe to ensure a smooth transition.
