CHESTERBROOK, PA — Boomi™, a leading provider of cloud-based integration solutions, recently announced the appointment of Matt Heinz as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Heinz will be tasked with leading Boomi’s expanding global sales organization and accelerating the company’s growth trajectory.
This new appointment is of significant importance for investors, as Heinz brings over two decades of experience guiding companies through periods of high growth. His track record suggests that he could play a pivotal role in shaping Boomi’s future success and profitability.
Steve Lucas, CEO at Boomi, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, saying, “With Matt joining our ranks, bringing unmatched global sales prowess and a passion for customer success, we’re poised to elevate our growth and innovation journey.”
Heinz’s previous roles provide a glimpse into his potential impact at Boomi. As CRO of Amplitude, a digital analytics platform, he led the company to over 400% revenue growth, built its go-to-market function, and took it public via a Direct Listing in 2021. Prior to Amplitude, Heinz spent eight years as a sales executive at Marketo, where he established the company’s enterprise sales business and continued to oversee Marketo’s revenue operations in North America after it was acquired by Adobe in 2018.
Heinz’s focus at Boomi will be on driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and fostering collaborative relationships to accelerate the company’s market leadership. His appointment signals Boomi’s commitment to aggressive growth and could potentially boost investor confidence in the company’s ability to deliver strong returns.
“I am deeply impressed by the company’s innovative solutions, talented team, and unwavering commitment to its customers,” Heinz said of his new role. “Together, we will unlock new opportunities, drive value for our customers, and achieve new heights of success.”
