BERWYN, PA — AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME), a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, has announced the promotion of Patrick L. Williams to Vice President and General Manager of its Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Division. Williams, who previously served as Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Power Protection and Quality Solutions (PPQS) business, takes on his new role with a history of driving growth and profitability within the company.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration degree from Ohio State University.
In addition to Williams’s appointment, AMETEK’s Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.28 per share for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024. This dividend, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to returning value to shareholders, is scheduled for payment on June 28, 2024, to shareholders of record as of June 14, 2024.
