WAYNE, PADynamic Energy has successfully completed a significant 907 kW rooftop solar installation for Cooper-Booth Wholesale Co. at their Mountville, Pennsylvania headquarters. This project, spanning 61,000 square feet, promises to offset rising energy costs while advancing Cooper-Booth’s green energy initiatives.

This ambitious solar setup is expected to generate about 1.17 gigawatt-hours of renewable energy annually. As a result, it will offset 817 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year, comparable to the carbon sequestration of 950 acres of U.S. forest. The installation features 1,680 solar modules, making it a formidable player in the company’s sustainability strategy.

Barry Margolis, president of Cooper-Booth Wholesale Co., expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “Working with Dynamic Energy has been a great experience. Choosing to go solar was an easy decision, given the significant energy savings and the positive impact on our sustainability goals.”

Dynamic Energy, based in Pennsylvania, brings vast expertise in clean energy solutions across the Mid-Atlantic and nationwide. They developed, designed, and constructed the project, leveraging state and federal solar incentives. Their partnership with local utilities and regulatory bodies ensured smooth interconnection, permitting, and installation processes.

Oliver Davis, President of Dynamic Energy, emphasized the project’s dual benefits: “In addition to being a smart capital investment, this project will reduce grid congestion and deliver a cost-effective way to cut corporate emissions. Lastly, collaborating with Cooper-Booth underscores Dynamic’s mission to distribute energy and generate change.”

This venture marks a pivotal step for both companies, merging financial savings with environmental responsibility, and setting a precedent for future renewable energy projects.
