EXTON, PA — Chester County United Way is proud to announce that it has received a generous $101,396 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation, distributed through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). This funding will enhance and sustain the organization’s financial security programs, which support hardworking individuals and families in Chester County who struggle to afford basic necessities.

The grant will enable Chester County United Way to expand services for the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population, ensuring access to critical financial security resources such as free tax preparation, financial literacy education, and emergency assistance. A portion of the funding will also be used to purchase a vehicle, allowing the organization to bring these vital programs directly into the community, in addition to serving individuals at the United Way headquarters and the United Way Financial Stability Center.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Foxwynd Foundation for this generous investment in the financial stability of Chester County residents,” said Christopher Saello, President & CEO of Chester County United Way. “This funding will allow us to reach more ALICE households and provide them with the tools they need to achieve long-term economic independence.”

“The Bentley Family and the Foxwynd Foundation are honored to contribute to Chester County United Way’s vital work in expanding financial security programs. We believe in empowering individuals and families to achieve lasting stability, and this grant represents a step toward creating a stronger, more self-sufficient community,” said Pamela Villagra, Executive Director of the Foxwynd Foundation.

The Foxwynd Foundation is committed to fostering stronger, more resilient communities by supporting initiatives that promote financial stability, education, and economic empowerment. This grant represents a meaningful investment in Chester County, ensuring that more families have access to the resources they need to build a secure financial future.
