Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation

MALVERN, PA — The Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation has announced the opening of its 2025/2026 academic scholarship program, aimed at empowering students and fostering educational excellence within its communities. Since its inception in 2009, the Foundation has awarded over 700 scholarships, totaling more than $1.5 million, to support the academic aspirations of residents living in Balfour Beatty-owned and managed properties.

“We are incredibly proud of the continued impact the Foundation has in empowering students and fostering educational excellence within our communities,” said Linda Bradley, Vice President and Treasurer of the Foundation. “This scholarship program not only invests in the future of these scholars but also helps create tomorrow’s leaders, staying true to our ‘We Care’ ethos by prioritizing the success and well-being of the communities we serve.”

The scholarships, open to residents of Balfour Beatty Communities’ military, student housing, and multifamily properties, are awarded based on academic merit, community service, extracurricular involvement, and financial need. Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school during the 2025/2026 academic year.

To complete the application process, candidates are required to submit an original essay outlining their educational goals and aspirations, and how the scholarship will support their academic journeys.

All application materials must be submitted by March 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT. The program underscores the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to education and the success of its communities. For more information and to apply, visit www.bbcommunitiesfoundation.org/scholarships.
