LANSDALE, PA — In an effort to amplify the voices of resilient women and promote social justice, the 365 Foundation Inc. has announced Amanda Knox as the first guest on its new podcast, “In The Pink.” Knox will be visiting from April 4-7 to share her story of struggle and perseverance.
The collaboration with Knox, who gained international attention after being wrongfully convicted of murder in Italy in 2007 and exonerated in 2015, is considered a pivotal moment in her career. Knox is also set to produce a Hulu series alongside Monica Lewinsky, furthering her mission to share her side of the story.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to amplify voices like Amanda’s and provide a platform for women to share their stories and experiences,” said Natalie Venezia, founder and CEO of 365 Foundation Inc. The Lansdale, Pennsylvania-based non-profit organization aims to promote, defend, and empower women in the community through initiatives that raise awareness about social justice and diversity.
Knox’s story of wrongful conviction and eventual exoneration has made her a symbol of perseverance and justice worldwide. By featuring her narrative in its inaugural episode, the 365 Foundation hopes to inspire listeners and spark meaningful conversations about empowerment and equality.
“We believe that storytelling is a powerful tool for change,” added Venezia. “By sharing our narratives with honesty and vulnerability, we can inspire others to stand up for what they believe in.”
By leveraging platforms such as podcasts, the 365 Foundation seeks to reach a wider audience and further its mission. The organization works closely with local organizations and uses the arts and community service to create safe spaces for women to express themselves while advocating for equal rights.
This new venture aligns with the Foundation’s goal of highlighting inspirational women’s stories, thereby promoting diversity and social justice in a more engaging and accessible format.
