VALLEY FORGE, PA — On the heels of its successful inaugural Leadership Forum (held in January), the Washington Memorial Heritage and David Cross and Indispensable Leadership (LLC) have revealed details for their much-anticipated second session. “Washington’s Contemporaries – Robert Morris,” presented by American Revolution expert and former U.S. Air Force Captain, Wilson Dorward, will be held at the Washington Memorial Chapel (Rt. 23 Valley Forge Park, Valley Forge, PA) on Thursday, February 10 at 6 PM.

During this enlightening evening, Dorward will guide the audience in a series of discussions about George Washington’s contemporaries, specifically Robert Morris – a man whose life reached great heights and distressing depths. As the chief financier of the Revolution, as well as a signer of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, Morris was more than the “Financier Of The American Revolution.” He was the delegate to the Continental Congress from Pennsylvania and he is credited with saving the United States with his financial contributions and business acumen.

Prior to the Morris discussion, Leadership Forum Moderator and Host David Cross will prime the audience for Valentine’s Day with a discussion about George Washington’s loves. He will pose the questions “Can you learn to be a better spouse or ‘significant other’ from George Washington?” and “Can Washington help you to find your one and only true love?”.

The Washington Memorial Heritage Leadership Forum Series is a History/Leadership and Author Events Program that kicked off last month at the Washington Memorial Chapel. Drawing upon America’s Revolutionary history, the program examines the challenges and decisions faced by the country’s Founders. Analyzing their experiences, the program provides lessons that help attendees in their business and personal life.
