MALVERN, PA — The new program, called the Malvern Insiders, is an effort by the MBPA to make it easier for the residents of Malvern and surrounding areas to learn about all the great events in Malvern, along with an easy-to-access resource of all the promotions offered by local businesses in one place. It is free to enroll; by enrolling residents are automatically entered to win $50 to spend at a merchant on King Street. First drawing is Dec 1st, so we encourage people to enroll this week.
Since the pandemic began, residents have been seeking ways to support their local businesses, but it has mostly been a hunting exercise. Various Facebook groups have been formed to share this information but with this new mobile program, there is now, by enrolling in Malvern Insiders, a centralized place to find out about all the promotions local businesses offer, plus information about events in town (like the upcoming Christmas on King event on Saturday.)
The MBPA called on local company, Mobile High 5, which uses the latest mobile communications technology to develop a mobilized communication program. This program enables the Association to engage community members instantly, right on their phones with information about the local community. Residents need to opt-in to this program and Mobile High 5 has created several simple methods to enroll. Residents can simply text the word MALVERN to the number 55678 to enroll or scan a QR code that has been posted on signage at merchants on King Street or can be found on multiple posts on social media or they can simply join online at https://mh5.info/KingStreetJoin
In less than a week, more than 500 residents have already enrolled in the Malvern Insiders program.
