PHILADELPHIA, PA — The bustling streets of Philadelphia are set to smell even more enticing at the end of February. East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) has proudly announced the return of the much-loved East Passyunk Restaurant Week. The heart of Philadelphia’s gastronomic scene will be buzzing from Monday, February 26th to Friday, March 8th, offering foodies an opportunity to dig into spectacular culinary delights.
Nearly two dozen award-winning restaurants will be rolling out delicious specially priced menus for this annual event. With every corner offering something unique, food enthusiasts can expect a range of flavors – from long-time favorites to exclusive new dishes making their restaurant week debut. Whether your preference is a cozy indoor setting, casual dining, or an energetic cocktail bar, East Passyunk Restaurant Week has something for everyone.
The participating restaurants range from local legends to up-and-coming stars, including Barcelona Wine Bar, Bing Bing Dim Sum, The Dutch, Ember and Ash, and Le Virtu among others. Each establishment will offer three-course prix fixe lunch or dinner menus for $20, $30, $40, or $55.
“East Passyunk Restaurant Week is a fantastic opportunity to explore the rich diversity of restaurants, chefs and menus,” said EPABID Executive Director Rebecca O’Leary. “The food scene in East Passyunk is one of the most unique and diverse in the city.”
The week-long event goes beyond just dining and strives to create a mini-gastronomic journey around the globe. Food lovers can savor Vietnamese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Dutch, Spanish, Jamaican, and many more cuisines, all within a six-block stretch. East Passyunk Restaurant Week offers everyone a passport to experience all these diverse and delightful flavors.
From delightful BYOB bruncheries like The Dutch to James Beard nominees like Le Virtu, East Passyunk Restaurant Week provides a chance to experience diverse dining styles. The special event invites everyone to try something new, return to a long-term favorite, or do both, all while enjoying the atmosphere of one of the “Top Ten Foodie Streets in America.”
This year’s participant list reads like a who’s who of the regional dining scene, including “Best of Philly” winners and “Essential Philadelphia Restaurants” nominees. Food lovers can expect an unforgettable culinary adventure featuring Spanish-centric small plates at Barcelona Wine Bar, stylishly adorned dim sum at Bing Bing Dim Sum, English grub at Stargazy, award-winning Vietnamese cuisine at Gabriella’s Vietnam, or delicious pub food at Pub on Passyunk East, and much more.
