WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Music Academy is one of 8 schools in the nation to be nominated for the 2022 National Music School of the Year award.
This nomination comes from the Music Academy Success®, a national trade association for music academies from all over North America. With hundreds of schools competing for the nomination, this award is a recognition of the school’s significant contributions to the industry.
The school’s director, Nick Doak, sees the award as a unique opportunity. “To have survived the pandemic as a small business was such a feat, as many closed their doors. We are so grateful to our community and clients for supporting us during this difficult time. To then be nominated for this award seems like a dream come true.”
The school will present at the Music Academy Success® conference in Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee on April 5th, where they will compete with the other 7 schools for the big award.
West Chester Music Academy’s mission is that music should be all about joy. They aim to be West Chester’s most welcoming, fun, and professional music school.
Director Nick Doak says, “At a time where the world has seemed to be in a state of chaos, we find joy in knowing people can come together and share the love of music within our walls.”
