KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Come January 24, The Kennett Flash will be alight with the soulful sounds of Americana singer/songwriter Lauren Calve. Known for her unique blend of rock, blues, and folk, Calve is set to headline The Winter Sun Tour in support of her acclaimed debut album, Shift.

The tour also features talented artists Cat Ridgeway and Catterina, promising an unforgettable night of music for fans.

Recorded in Nashville at 3Sirens Music Group, Shift showcases Calve’s powerful vocals and evocative lyrics, backed by a gifted ensemble of musicians. These include ACM Drummer of the Year Fred Eltringham, guitar virtuoso Audley Freed, and bassist Robert Kearns, among others.

Shift reflects the introspective period during which it was written, largely in quarantine. Through the ten songs featured on the album, Calve invites listeners on her journey of self-discovery and change, demonstrating her prowess in emotional storytelling.

The title track “Shift” was released earlier this year, earning a feature on The Bluegrass Situation and a premiere of its music video. Calve’s second single, “Everything At The Same Time,” was added to numerous Spotify playlists and even made an appearance in CMT’s The Roundup.

Calve has recently finished touring with Rhett Miller, who praised her as “an old soul with a voice to match.” She has also shared stages with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Tom Paxton, Justin Townes Earle, and Amythyst Kiah, among others.

The upcoming performance at The Kennett Flash is an opportunity for fans to experience Calve’s stirring music live. Her passion and talent promise an evening of unforgettable Americana music that resonates long after the last note has been sung.
