WAYNE, PA — The Wayne Oratorio Society is set to present its annual rendition of George Frederic Handel’s Messiah, promising an enchanting musical experience for the Christmas season. The concerts will take place on Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 7:30 PM at the Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
John Grecia, Interim Director of the Wayne Oratorio Society, will be conducting the performance. He will lead a chorus of 150 singers, backed by a 30-piece professional orchestra, and four talented soloists, including soprano Melanie Sarakatsannis, tenor David Price, alto Raffaella Lo Castro, and bass Mark Hightower.
The concert is open to the public, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. As seating is non-ticketed, early arrival is recommended to secure the best seats. An offering will be taken to support the Society, with a suggested donation of $25.
