Simultaneously, St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley, located at 2475 St. Peter’s Rd. in Malvern, PA, will host its “Jazz & Joe” evening at 7 p.m., also featuring The Jazz Sanctuary Quintet alongside Bruce Kaminsky on bass. While both concerts are complimentary, donations are welcomed to support the venues.

The month culminates with a serene afternoon service on Sunday, November 24, at Saint Miriam Parish & Friary, 654 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA. Beginning at 3 p.m., the concert integrates the harmonious creativity of The Jazz Sanctuary Quintet into the service, offering a reflective and joyful musical experience.

Reflecting on the ensemble’s journey, Alan Segal acknowledges the group’s longstanding presence in the Philadelphia jazz scene, noting, “The Jazz Sanctuary is the oldest serving jazz group in the Philly five county area. No one has been together longer than us.” With over a decade of collaboration, the ensemble’s seasoned musicians continue to inspire and unite audiences through their performances.

This November, The Jazz Sanctuary invites the public to immerse themselves in the timeless allure of jazz, celebrating a rich cultural legacy while fostering community connections through the universal language of music.
