DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The homebrewers will provide the beer and the Minquas Fire Company No. 2 will play the host at the 2nd Annual D-Town Brew-Down home-brewed beer competition and festival on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 1-5 PM.
Last year, more than 350 beer enthusiasts gathered to sample the 50+ lagers, ales, and porters that talented home-brewers produced.
This year, beer-lovers will salivate over 60+ creative brews to sample! The top three winners will be chosen by professional judges, while attendees will vote for the “People’s Choice Award” winner, which will again be generously brewed for sale by Locust Lane Craft Brewery in Malvern!
This fun gathering benefits the Downingtown Library. Musical entertainment will again be provided by Afrobear and the dulcet ukulele tones of the D’town Ukesters, the ukulele club that meets monthly at the Downingtown Library. The event will also include games, raffles, brewing demonstrations and delicious food for sale!
Tickets are now on sale for $32 for a taster ticket, pre-sale (2 oz. pours, vote for your favorite), and $5 for a non-taster ticket at tickettailor.com/events/dtownbrewdown. Taster tickets will be $35 at the door.
