WEST CHESTER, PA — Families looking for a new way to celebrate spring can join the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) for its first-ever AHMEC Egg Hunt. The event promises fun for children ages 1-10, with egg hunts tailored to different age groups, hands-on activities, and educational entertainment.
The Egg Hunt will run on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AHMEC, located at 1220 American Blvd, West Chester, PA. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for children, and free for museum members.
Event highlights include appearances from Heli Hopper the Rabbit, participation from the Brandywine Zoo, PA Audubon Society, the Newlin Grist Mill, and the Penn State Master Gardener/Watershed Program. Special guests like aviation author Erin Murphy and children’s storyteller Melanie Bieler will add to the interactive experience. Visitors can also enjoy crafts, animal artifacts, visiting animals, and free seed germination packets to take home.
