WEST CHESTER, PA — The law firm Gawthrop Greenwood is pleased to present the work of award-winning, internationally exhibited Glenmoore artist Claire Rosen during Downtown West Chester’s Fall 2023 Gallery Walk this Friday, October 6, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rosen will be in the atrium of Gawthrop Greenwood’s law offices on 17 East Gay Street in West Chester from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday to showcase her installation of still-life photographs. The event is free and open to the public, as one of more than 20 stops on a one-night-only, self-guided art tour hosted by Downtown West Chester. A complete tour map can be found at https://www.downtownwestchester.com/event/fall-gallery-walk-2023/.
Rosen’s photographic work is in the classic Dutch master style of painting and is a reflection on beauty, light and darkness, transience, and metamorphosis featuring flora and fauna. Rosen was twice named to Forbes “30 under 30” for Art & Design and her work has been featured in The Guardian, Harper’s Magazine, NPR, National Geographic, Refinery29, Smithsonian Magazine and The Washington Post. She is currently restoring the historic Warwick Furnace Farm with her family in Glenmoore, PA. The farm is home to the historic Warwick Furnace, built in 1738 by Anna Nutt & Co., and grows lavender that is harvested, distilled and formulated into products on site.
