KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player purchased a Powerball ticket worth $150,000 in Chester County. The winning ticket, sold at The Market at Liberty Place, matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball in the Saturday, July 27 drawing.

The winning numbers were 3, 31, 37, 40, and 64, with the Powerball number 17. The Power Play multiplier was three. Thanks to the $1 Power Play option, the prize increased from $50,000 to $150,000. Without this option, the ticket would have been worth significantly less.

For selling the winning ticket, The Market at Liberty Place will receive a $500 bonus.

Winners often remain unknown until they claim their prizes and validate their tickets. Pennsylvania Lottery winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Players should sign the back of their tickets immediately. For online tickets, winnings are automatically credited to the player’s account after the claim process is completed.

On the same drawing date, more than 31,300 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won various prizes. This includes over 6,300 tickets purchased with Power Play and more than 3,800 tickets with Double Play.
