LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — The much-anticipated 11th Annual Nicole Conway Recovery Volleyball Tournament is set to take place at Fairview Park in Columbia on August 24. This event is a hallmark of community spirit, bringing together individuals, families, public figures, local businesses, and behavioral health providers to celebrate recovery, resilience, and the vital second chances that come with it.

The tournament is more than just a sporting event; it is a day dedicated to unity and fellowship. It provides a platform for those in recovery to share their stories, for allies to offer their support, and for everyone to connect with crucial prevention, treatment, and recovery programs available throughout South Central Pennsylvania.

Chris Dreisbach, founder of Blueprints for Addiction Recovery, expressed his enthusiasm for this significant milestone: “It’s exciting to be in the 11th year of raising funds and community awareness surrounding recovery. This tournament has grown into a symbol of hope and strength, bringing together people from all walks of life to support a cause that touches us all.”

This year, the Recovery Opportunity & Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, proudly presents the event. The foundation manages a fund that directly benefits children who have lost their parents to overdose, underscoring the community’s commitment to supporting those affected by addiction.

Benjamin McCoy, CEO of Blueprints for Addiction Recovery, highlighted the event’s impact on the community: “We look forward to this event every year. It’s an opportunity to honor the people we’ve lost, and to celebrate recovery with partners, advocates, and friends in the fight against recidivism, overdose, and death. Beyond the fun of the tournament and the rest of the activities throughout the day, a key goal of the event is to educate the community and connect people to lifesaving services and supports.”
