PENNSYLVANIAMath Nation-Pennsylvania, a supplemental Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 math program, is now available at no cost to all Pennsylvania public schools and districts, thanks to a partnership between Accelerate Learning and the state of Pennsylvania. The online and print learning resources, which are 100% aligned to the Pennsylvania Core Standards for Mathematics, are funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Included in the partnership is digital access to Math Nation-Pennsylvania online resources, unlimited night and weekend tutoring via interactive Math Tutoring Walls, and 40,000 workbooks for Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Students, teachers, and families can access Math Nation resources from the web, tablets, and smartphones 24 hours a day. In addition, implementation training is available for Pennsylvania schools and districts.

“In Pennsylvania, like many states, there is a need to provide additional support to help address the lingering effects of the pandemic on student learning,” said Dr. Shawn Wigg, vice president of Math Nation curriculum. “With Math Nation’s supplemental resources, students can learn when and where they want, and build the knowledge and skills they need to master mathematics.”

Math Nation helps students master math skills with individualized instruction from dynamic content videos led by “Study Experts” — and students can choose the Study Expert who best fits their learning style. Using the Math Nation mobile app, students can also download videos and view them offline later when they may not have internet access. In addition to the videos, Math Nation resources include personalized remediation tools, digital practice tools, homework help and virtual tutoring, a professional learning community and resources for teachers, and family support videos.
