Phillies Phitness Sparks a Health Revolution at West Bradford Elementary with GIANT Partnership!

DOWNINGTOWN, PAWest Bradford Elementary School recently partnered with the Philadelphia Phillies and GIANT to host the Phillies Phitness program, an initiative aimed at educating students on the importance of staying active and making nutritious food choices. The program emphasizes building lifelong healthy habits through engaging activities and practical dietary guidance.

As part of the event, Phillies Phitness instructors involved students in fun physical exercises to highlight the role of daily movement in maintaining well-being. GIANT representatives also provided valuable insights on how balanced meals and thoughtful food choices contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

“We are thrilled to host this event at West Bradford Elementary. It’s important for our students to understand how they can take small steps now to build a healthy future,” said Principal Deborah Kearney.

This event was the result of coordination by Justin Brown, the school’s Director of Student Relations and School Climate. “Encouraging our students to develop healthy habits is key to their success, both inside and outside the classroom. At Downingtown Area School District, we are committed to supporting the overall well-being of our students, and we are grateful to the Phillies and GIANT for partnering with us to bring this important event to our school,” Brown stated.
