NORTH EAST, MD — Cecil College has announced its Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester, recognizing students who achieved outstanding academic performance. Among those honored are seven students from Pennsylvania who met the rigorous criteria for this distinction.
To qualify, full-time students must achieve a semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 to 3.74 on a 4.00 scale while completing at least 12 semester hours. Part-time students are eligible after accumulating 15 credit hours or more and earning a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74 for the semester. Developmental coursework grades are excluded from this evaluation.
The following Pennsylvania students earned their place on the Dean’s List for Fall 2024:
- Emily Clontz – Lincoln University, PA
- Rachel Applegate – Oxford, PA
- Lauren Callahan – Oxford, PA
- Cara Hotchkiss – Oxford, PA
- Emily Krivanich – Oxford, PA
- Alexa Mitros – Oxford, PA
- Giovanni Malatesta – Strasburg, PA
Cecil College, located in Maryland’s most northeastern county, serves a diverse student body of roughly 2,200 credit students and 2,400 non-credit learners. With campuses in North East and Elkton, the college offers a range of associate degrees, certificate programs, and non-credit courses.
This recognition underscores the dedication and hard work of these Pennsylvania students, who continue to excel academically while contributing to the academic excellence Cecil College is known for.
