This summer, DCCC students took on diverse roles at prestigious organizations such as The Vanguard Group, the County of Delaware, The Wistar Institute, and Rosati Water Ice. These positions spanned digital marketing, information technology, network engineering, and advanced biomedical research, equipping students with the practical skills needed in today’s job market.
Ella Ferris, a Business Administration major from Devon, gained invaluable experience at The Vanguard Group as an editorial and writing intern. Working within Vanguard’s dynamic marketing team, she honed her creativity and strategic thinking, leading to a subsequent internship with USLI as a lead generation intern. Ferris credits DCCC for providing this pivotal opportunity that bolstered her professional confidence and skills.
In Media, Network Engineering major Alexandra Showers from Brookhaven interned with the County of Delaware’s IT department. Business Administration major Shane Justice from West Chester leveraged his internship at Rosati Water Ice to secure an autumn position at SAP America Inc. in digital marketing. Furthermore, several students joined The Wistar Institute’s renowned Biotechnical Technician Training Program.
