MEDIA, PA — Community organizations, senior living facilities, and libraries in Delaware and Chester Counties can strengthen their programming this spring with access to the Delaware County Community College (DCCC) Speakers Bureau. This free public service offers engaging faculty-led presentations on a wide range of topics, tailored to inform and inspire local audiences.

Launching in 1973, the DCCC Speakers Bureau has been a valued resource for over 50 years, providing thought-provoking and educational sessions to meet a variety of community needs. Faculty members are available to speak on diverse areas of expertise, including entrepreneurship, English literature, digital marketing, and mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.

For history enthusiasts, the bureau offers immersive presentations like a Colonial militia living history demonstration or explorations of historical events such as the American War for Independence, the Civil War, and both World Wars. Additional topics include law in pop culture, school readiness, Early Childhood Education, stress management, and strategic planning, among others.

Speakers are available from September through May each year, making this an ideal time for community groups to book presentations that align with their educational goals or programming plans.

This long-standing initiative exemplifies DCCC’s commitment to serving the community, offering not only knowledge and insights but also opportunities to connect through inspiring conversations. With an impressive roster of faculty and topics, the Speakers Bureau continues to be an invaluable asset to local organizations striving to enrich the lives of their members.

Looking ahead, this resource promises to further strengthen ties between the college and the community it serves, empowering organizations to deliver impactful, free programming for years to come. For a full list of speakers and topics as well as booking information, visit dccc.edu.speakersbureau.
