MEDIA, PA — Delaware County Community College has announced its 39th annual Return to Learn Week, an enriching three-day event designed specifically for community members aged 55 and older. Set to take place on May 14, 15, and 16 at the College’s Marple Campus, this unique learning experience offers a wide array of mini-classes tailored to interests ranging from the arts to practical skills.
Whether you’re fascinated by the mysteries of Astronomy and Astrochemistry, eager to express yourself through Acrylic Painting, or looking to pick up some new moves in Line Dancing, Return to Learn Week has something to spark everyone’s curiosity. The program also caters to those seeking practical knowledge with classes in carpentry, healthy cooking, and managing finances during retirement.
“Return to Learn Week is about more than just taking classes; it’s an opportunity to make new friends, explore new interests, and enjoy the camaraderie of learning in a welcoming environment,” said Tricia Scepansky, the College’s director of Community Education.
For a registration fee of $130 for all three days, or $115 for two days, participants will have access to eight workshops, along with continental breakfasts and delicious lunches. Activities and classes will primarily be hosted in the College’s state-of-the-art STEM Center, known for its modern facilities and convenient location.
