DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA), operated by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), has announced the appointment of Dr. Jeanne McCarthy as the new BVA division director. The appointment, confirmed at the CCIU Board of Directors meeting on January 17, 2024, will take effect on February 12, 2024.

Dr. McCarthy’s appointment is a strategic addition to the BVA leadership team, given her extensive experience in educational technology and curriculum development.
