WEST CHESTER, PA — The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the competitive element winners from the West Chester Christmas Parade’s as the borough prepares for three more weekends of free, family fun amidst 80,000 sparkling lights during Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends in West Chester.
Easton Area High School Red Rover Marching Band won 1st place in the 2024 Marching Band Competition held at Friday’s parade, with Downingtown West High School Marching Band placing 2nd and Bishop Shanahan Marching Band placing third. In the all-new competition for “Best Commercial Parade Float,” J Dog Junk Removal won, with honorable mention to The Master’s Baker. In the all-new competition of “Best Nonprofit Parade Entry,” Rotary Club of West Chester won, with honorable mention to Teddy Diskin University. Winners in all categories receive bragging rights and prizes.
“We congratulate all participants, including those who so successfully competed to make this year’s West Chester Christmas Parade the #1 place to launch the holidays,” said Katie Walker, President of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. “If you missed last weekend’s parade and tree lighting, we have even more free fun for you this weekend.”

Making Spirits Bright Holiday Music Series

Free outdoor concerts on the lawn of the Historic Chester County Courthouse. This weekend is West Chester Music Academy & the Jazz Mavericks. Next weekend is St. Agnes Parish Combined Choirs.

West Chester Borough Balladeer Carolers
