CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Magisterial District Judge Paige Simmons announced her candidacy for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Judge Simmons currently serves as Magisterial District Judge for Uwchlan, Upper, Uwchlan, West Pikeland, and East Caln townships.

“I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas and am excited about the opportunity to continue serve the people of Chester County as a Common Pleas Judge. In my present role as Magisterial District Judge, I demonstrate every day that a judge can uphold the laws of the Pennsylvania and our great nation while treating all litigants and defendants with dignity, respect, and fairness.”

Prior to winning her seat as MDJ, Judge Simmons handled hundreds of civil cases and served as General Counsel for several companies. An experienced attorney, she also founded a firm that provided counsel to local businesses, community associations, and everyday residents.

In addition to her work as an MDJ, Judge Simmons is an active member of the community and is passionate about her service. She currently serves on the boards of the Chester County Women’s Commission, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Advisory Board, and the Downingtown Area School District Advisory Board. In the past, Judge Simmons served on the Boards of The Barn at Springbrook Farm, Friends Association and the grant committee for The Fund for Women and Girls.

“My professional and community experience and background as the daughter of immigrants is what sets me apart from other judges.  I share a viewpoint and perspective with many of our Chester County residents that has never been represented on the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. I believe these diverse experiences make me the right choice for a changing Chester County.”
