VALLEY FORGE, PA — On the heels of Independence Day, The Washington Memorial Heritage and David Cross and Indispensable Leadership (LLC) are celebrating with a special “Lead Like George” Leadership Forum on Thursday, July 14 at 6 PM. “Washington Crossing the Delaware/Getting Unstuck,” which is Cross’ most popular seminar about how Washington’s leadership skills helped lead his people into a war of independence, will be held at the Washington Memorial Chapel (Rt. 23 Valley Forge Park, Valley Forge, PA).
During the lecture, Cross will discuss how, from a leadership perspective, Washington changed with the times and convinced people from different regions that they were all a part of a single army. He will also explore how a person derided as a playboy and a mere foxhunter grew to have the gravitas to become the Father of his Country – and how these same principles can apply to today’s society. If one has the willingness and skills to change.
“In our previous sessions we have talked about George Washington the General, George Washington the President, George Washington the husband, and George Washington the scholar,” said Cross. “What better topic to touch upon in July then George Washington the Revolutionary?”.
The Washington Memorial Heritage Leadership Forum Series is a History/Leadership and Author Events Program that kicked off earlier this year at the Washington Memorial Chapel. Drawing upon America’s Revolutionary history, the program examines the challenges and decisions faced by the country’s Founders. Analyzing their experiences, the program provides lessons which help attendees in their business and personal life.
The price will be $20 per person per session; students with proof of student status will be admitted free.
