EXTON, PA — Eight volunteers in Uwchlan Township participated in a catch basin cleanup event on November 18th, collecting 22 bags of trash and discarded road signs. The event was organized by the Township’s Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) as part of their ongoing commitment to environmental cleanliness and sustainability.
The cleanup took place along Uwchlan Avenue and Welsh Pool Road, marking the second fall cleanup event for 2023. Among the items collected was a “Litter Crews Ahead” sign that had been improperly disposed of.
Officer Steve Scott from the Uwchlan Township Police Department provided safety support for the team during the event, ensuring the smooth execution of the cleanup.
The EAC extended its gratitude to the volunteers for their contribution to cleaning up the local environment and is encouraging more residents to get involved in future events.
