EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Easttown Township has recently announced a call for volunteers to fill vacant positions across several committees and boards. The township is inviting interested residents who can commit to regular meetings to apply.
Vacant Positions Details:
- Easttown Municipal Authority (EMA)
- Meets: 2nd Tuesday of each month
- Term Expiration: December 31, 2028
- Responsibilities: Planning and constructing the sewer system.
- Historical Commission (HC)
- Meets: 2nd Wednesday of each month
- Term Expiration: December 31, 2026
- Role: Providing historical preservation information to residents and making recommendations on the rehabilitation, preservation, adaptive reuse, restoration, and acquisition of significant historical structures and sites.
- Parks and Recreation Board (PRB)
- Meets: 3rd Tuesday of each month
- Term Expiration: December 31, 2025
- Role: Making recommendations on plans for the acquisition, construction, improvement, maintenance, equipping, operation, financing, and regulation of Township recreation facilities.
- Stormwater Management Advisory Committee (SMAC)
- Meets: 4th Tuesday of each month
- Term Expiration: December 31, 2026
- Role: Making observations, analyses and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and operation of stormwater management in the Township.
All terms commence once appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
