The Chester County Planning Commission will be hosting the 2022 Transportation Forum on Thursday, September 22, 2022. The forum will be discussing the county’s initiatives towards improving the transit environment. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning more about the county’s transportation planning efforts and other initiatives. The presentations at the forum will include updates on the Chester County Freight Plan, the Chester County Trails Master Plan, and other initiatives toward improving the county’s transit environment. This year’s forum will include presentations from Sonia Huntzinger, Executive Director of Second Century Alliance, Kathryn Evans, Executive Director of Church Housing Corporation, and Hillary Krummrich, Chester County’s Agricultural Development Director. Attendees will learn about the exciting economic development initiatives and projects in Coatesville, the developer’s perspective on working with local municipalities on affordable housing, and ways local municipalities can implement the county’s new ag economic development strategy. Urban Centers Forum: Density, Diversity, and Discussion

The Urban Centers Forum is an annual event that brings together representatives from Chester County’s urban centers to discuss the successes and challenges of managing a growing municipality. Staff from a variety of county departments and other stakeholders will be on hand to participate in the discussion and answer questions. The forum will provide a forum for discussion and a chance to pose questions and present opportunities to keep Chester County’s urban centers thriving into the future. All municipal managers, council members, planning commissioners, and stakeholders affiliated with Chester County’s urban centers are being encouraged to attend.
A+ Homes – Decoding Housing Proformas
