BERWYN, PA — The Spotlight Concert Series at Trinity Presbyterian Church (Berwyn, PA) is thrilled to announce the final concert of the 2019 season, featuring Grammy-nominated Award Winning singer-songwriter Seth Glier on Saturday, October 5th at 7:00 PM.
Free RSVP tickets are available at https://spotlightconcert-sethglier.eventbrite.com.
“I’m a songwriter and I believe that the way in which we tell a story ultimately has the power to change the story. I think that when someone lets a song into their heart it becomes a spirit. To me, songs are mediators between the spiritual and sensual world and I think that this world is in desperate need of them.” Glier tells us.
A troubadour in every sense of the word, Seth plays over 250+ shows a year. He has co-written tunes with Livingston Taylor, Ellis Paul and Marshall Altman. He has shared the stage with artists as diverse as James Taylor, John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, Ani DiFranco, Marc Cohn, Ryan Adams, Martin Sexton, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Edwin McCain, and Ronnie Spector.
He has appeared as a main-stage artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (NY) and the Kerrville Folk Festival (TX). In addition to his Grammy nomination, Seth took home Best Love Song for his track “Naia” at the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards. In 2012, “Next Right Thing” won Best Social Action Song at the Independent Music Awards.
