Education in Chester County, PA

There are numerous elementary, secondary, and higher institutions of learning in Chester County Pennsylvania, which is home to the Chester County Intermediate Unit, 14 public school districts, many independent and private schools, charter schools, multiple colleges and universities, and the Chester County Library System. In general, Chester County’s top public schools also rank as the top-performing public schools in Pennsylvania and the United States.
